Sweetwater Kitchen
The history of the food in the Boulder area started when the Anasazi lived here as far back as 2000 years ago when hunting, gathering and farming was a way of life. When this area was settled in 1869 ranching and agriculture became predominant and created a pioneering culture. That western hospitality and tradition continue here and are strewn throughout the food we serve at the Sweetwater Café. Our meals are prepared with local produce, local organic beef, local organic pork and organic chicken.Take pleasure in the frontier flavors of the Sweetwater Café and enjoy a distinctive dining experience.
Chef Scott Ashley has prepared a menu that infuses the old west with a contemporary flair. His vast culinary knowledge and love for the area inspires him to create unique dishes using wild edible plants and herbs that will tantalize your tastebuds. Our full service restaurant provides a variety of delicious dining choices that caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets. We can provide a unique and memorable dining experience from outdoor private candlelight dinner to a cowboy cookout. Reservations are recommended.
