Directions & Driving Times
From Salt Lake City: 4.5 Hours. Take I-15 South to Exit 188 towards Scipio on US 50 West. Turn Right on UT-256 (becomes UT-260). Turn Right onto UT-24. Turn Right onto UT-12 South. Follow Directions Below from Boulder.
From Moab, UT: 4 Hours. Take 191 North from Moab to I-70 West. From I-70 take exit 149 onto UT-24 W towards Hanksville. Follow UT-24 West to UT-12. Turn Left onto UT-12 South to Boulder. Follow Directions Below from Boulder.
From Boulder, UT: Approximately 10 minutes. 3 miles south of Boulder on Highway 12 (close to mile marker 83) take a sharp Right on Hell's Backbone/Salt Gulch Road, drive 3.3 miles BMGR is well signed on your left. Go the end of the driveway. The Office is on the lower level. Note: Hells Backbone Road is an improved well graded wide road suitable for most vehicles.
From Las Vegas, NV: 5.5 Hours. Take I-15 North crossing through AZ and into UT. Take a Right at Exit 95 UT-20 toward Panguitch and Circleville. Take a right onto UT-89 South. Take a Left onto UT-12 East. Follow Directions Below from Escalante.
From Escalante, UT: 45 Minutes. Take UT-12 North approximately 24 miles to Hells Back Bone Road/Salt Gulch Road on your Left. Follow 3.3 miles BMGR is well signed on your left. Hells Backbone Road is an improved well graded wide road suitable for all vehicles.
